More than ever in the business world it is important to connect with people  to step up your career or to strengthen your position in a market. Due to the pandemic the natural networking mechanisms do not work anymore. Therefore we have to adapt and use the technology we have to keep our networks.


As of course the pandemic made it close to impossible to meet new people in person it also made it far easier to attend various events even on the same day since they are held online. Via the chat function it is very easy to introduce yourself to a lot of people without much effort. Also people find it easier to text someone via zoom i.e. than stepping up to someone to start a conversation.

On the other hand, sure there are some disadvantages about virtual meetings. Many specialist analysts, after social investigations, have come to the conclusion that there is a lack of social interaction compared to the time before the pandemic.

To conclude, fortunately nowadays we have the technology to maintain our networks without getting physically in touch with others but on the long run meeting people in real life is inevitable for keeping a good and healthy business network.
